Cristina Velez

Cristina Velez is a native New Yorker who began her introduction to theatre with such programs as Henry St. Settlement and Find Your Voice. She went on to study at SUNY Plattsburgh where she completed a B.A. in Theatre Arts. While studying she explored such roles as Molly (The Smell of the Kill) and the British vagina in Vagina Monologues. Cristina is also an aspiring playwright, which was originally sparked while as a trainee in the Find Your Voice program. Cristina continues to work in theatre as an actor and writer. Currently, Cristina teaches improvisation and play writing in the NYC school system and loves every minute of it!!!
