Erika Green
Associate Director
Erika is a native New Yorker who grew up in a family of performers and visual artists. She attended Wesleyan University, CT, where she received her BA in Theater. After graduating, she was a professional actor for 12 years. In addition to working in film and television, Erika was as an actor/singer/dancer, performing on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in National Touring companies, and in regional theaters across the US. After leaving the acting profession, Erika went back to school to study Creative Arts Therapy- with a focus in Drama Therapy- in the Creative Arts Certificate Program at the New School in New York City. She then took a hiatus from work to give birth to and be at home full time with her two children. Four years ago, she entered into the world of public education, where she has done extensive work fundraising and serving on academic boards.
