Narrative Coaching for Couples
Most couples who end up drifting are struggling with communication issues. FYV is a time-proven and award-winning method of communication enhancement.
Are you looking to re-focus and re-charge your relationship?
Wanting to re-connect with your significant other?
Seeking a fun and creative opportunity to re-engage with your partner?
Not sure what ‘your story’ is?
Gail Noppe-Brandon, LMSW and Narrative Coach, will guide you through an experience in self-discovery (and ‘other discovery’), as you re-learn to express positive wants, offer positive feedback, work through conflict toward resolution, and seek to balance your view of yourself, your partner, and your relationship.
The FYV workshop model may be applied to couples in a private setting, using one of two models:
- Brief, in-depth, task-focused intervention includes guided writing sessions in which participants develop and re-vise a two-character story, in the form of active dialogue.
- Open-ended narrative coaching sessions, which may involve writing as a means of articulating your story, resolving conflicts, opening communication and renewing connection.
“The relevance [of the FYV method] for couples therapy, is that it will keep alive: What do they each want? What is their relationship? Why is this conflict coming up right now? How and/or can the conflict be resolved?”
- Colette Linnihan, LCSW, Instructor, National Institute of Psychotherapies

[Available as private sessions for one couple as well. No prior writing experience necessary in either format.]
